SPEAKERS this spring include: Barbara Tedlock, Simon Martin, David Freidel, William Ringle, Norman Schwartz, Elizabeth Newsome, Robert Sharer, Peter Harrison, Linda Brown, and James Nations.  Coffee and conversation with field archaeologists highlight the program breaks.  In-depth WORKSHOPS this spring include: the iconography of kings with Karl Taube, the Maya codices with Gabrielle Vail, and the details of hieroglyphic texts with John Harris and Judith Storniolo.

The Weekend opens Friday evening with a special talk by Christopher Jones followed by a casual reception.  Saturday evening enjoy a lively fiesta and banquet of Maya cuisine (optional) with our dinner speaker, Merle Greene Robertson.  The Weekend concludes Sunday afternoon with a Despedida party.  Join us for an entire weekend exploring Maya life and history!
